Let's Do it Again in 2010 Event Location: Various locations in Miami-Dade including the DEC Office, 801 Arthur Godfrey Road #402A, Miami Beach Event Description: Organizing for America, the continuation of the grassroots campaign that elected President Obama, is determined to maintain a strong local presence in Miami in order to build upon the Democrats' recent successes. Keeping Florida a 'blue state' is not just aimed at empowering Democrats in Washington or aiding President Obama's re-election chances. It's about doing what is best for Florida. Saturday July 24th is OFA's Statewide 'Day of Action' in Florida. From South Florida to the Panhandle, events have been planned to engage local volunteers with voters in anticipation of the upcoming elections. Our efforts in Miami-Dade County involve phone banking events and canvassing opportunities. Listed below are scheduled 'Day of Action' events.
